News, such as UOSS and the contents of press conference, are announced everyday.
UOSSやプレスカンファレンスの内容などのニュースは日本に日々伝えられています。

We hear that sliding door parts,such as "fusuma"and"shoji",will be available soon.
More big news for us is a consideration about "slating roof"!!
「ふすま」と「障子」といった引き戸パーツ、そして新たなハウスタイプを導入するという話を聞いています。
 そして、「斜めの屋根」の導入検討は大きなニュースです!!

 

- Japanese sliding door -

Although this is somewhat small...
これは少し小さいけどね...		 It is roof usage, such as an old good Japanese style house.
古き良き日本家屋といった
風情のある屋根使いですね。

The drawing room distant from the upper right main building is called "Hanare".
右上の母屋から離れた座敷を
「はなれ」といいます。

This is Japan's rule("oyakusoku").
屋根裏へ登るには梯子の方がよい
これは日本の決まり（お約束）です		 In a jungle, it is not stairs but
 a ladder.
ジャングルでは階段ではなく

This house is arranged naturally as if we can see it really in Japan.
The planner says all the UO players can arrange the same house in UO at once, except roof and radder.
この家は、あたかも日本で本当に見かけるものであるかのように、ごく自然な作りです。
製作者は、屋根とハシゴ以外は、今のUOで全プレイヤーがすぐに作ることが出来ると言っています。

We use teleporter tile frequently to avoid realizing how small our houses are.
Imagine there's stairs here instead of radder.
私達は、自分の家がいかに狭いかを気づかないようにするために、テレポーターをよく用います。
ここに、ハシゴの代わりに階段があると想像してみてください。

The lantern was also able to be decorated and it became a bright large room.
ランタンも飾れて、
明るく広い部屋に
なったね。

 
Radder's merit is to change our space wider, not only by its size.
ハシゴのメリットは、そのサイズだけではなく、我が家を広く変える事にあると思います。

 

We love this design best of all entries because it suits to UO landscape naturally.
Dreamful and comfortable to live in, remarkable to see, satisfied to feel, We dream of living in this house.
私達は、この家がUOの景色に自然に溶け込むと思うので、全ての投稿作品の中で最も好きです。

This house is full of dream about Hobbits, who live cheerfully and comfortably.
もし、ロードオブザリングの主役であるホビットがUOにいたら・・・
この家は、陽気にそして穏やかに生活するホビットについての夢でいっぱいの家です。

 


Dining room, there are a lot of beers,mashrooms and favorates.
Hobbits have a party everyday, singing and dancing and chattering.
台所には、沢山のビールやマッシュルームや好物のもの。
ホビットは、歌ったり踊ったりおしゃべりしたり、毎日パーティをします。




Next room, they are reading books, drewing maps and studying with a globe.
Hobbits are adventurers and full of curiosities.
隣の部屋では、本を読んだり、地図を描いたり、地球儀で勉強したり。
ホビットは好奇心旺盛で、冒険家です。
 


On the roof, they are reading or having siesta.
Hobbits and We also feel sunshine softly, time passing slowly.
屋根の上では、読書したり昼寝をしたり。
ホビットだけでなく我々もが時の流れをゆったりと感じ、陽の光を柔らかく感じます。

 

Using roof as one living space matchs good.
We know the planner's affection to small hobbits, from the comfortable size of house
and arrangement of rooms.
This house gives us a strange feeling as if hobbits are there, let us know how Hobbits live.
屋根を居住場所のひとつとして使うというのは、この家によくマッチしています。
製作者の小柄なホビットに対する愛情は、住みやすそうな家の大きさや部屋の配置でわかります。
この家は、ホビットがあたかもそこにいるかのような不思議な感覚にさせ、
ホビットがどういう風に生活しているかを教えてくれます。

This fortress is placed on the top of The Big Yew tree in Britannia.
We all used to this tree since UO's beginning.
この要塞はブリタニアにある大きなユーの木の上に建てられています。
私達は、UO開始当初からこの木に親しんできました。

 

Since Yew area was changed to a boggy place nowadays, The Big Yew tree sometimes frighten us.
If there was a secret fortress on it! We come to love Yew tree again.
最近、ユーは沼地化してしまっているので、この大きなユーの木は時々私達を驚かせたりします。
もしこんな秘密基地が木の上にあったら、私達はまたユーの木を愛するようになるでしょうね。

I want to walk, if possible. For a traditional ninja, moving in a roof top is common sense!
可能なら歩きたい。伝統的な忍者は屋根の上を移動するのが常識！

 

Is a roof influenced when installing stone oven?
ストーンオーブンを設置する場合に屋根は影響を受けますか？

In the case of the floor covered with the tile, 2-block space was required. Therefore, the crevice was vacant.
(It is ignored in the classic house)
タイルを敷き詰めた床の場合は２ブロックの空間が必要でした。
そのために隙間が空いていました。
（クラシックハウスでは無視されている）
